I check my RoboMiner trades every morning and this morning I found that RoboMiner opened two trades for Grid 59 (both called "RoboMiner Pro 1.27921 52059 in the Comments) at the same time (01:05). It shouldn't have done that. Also, one of the trades was left without a T/P. One trade had a 40pips T/P with the Broker but the other had no T/P showing at 02:33 - some 1.5hours later. I had to go in and add a T/P manually. Check your trades! rgds McDirt Screen Short of Terminal Journal attached. Last edited by mcdirt; 02-22-2010 at 06:23 PM. OK, I changed the Title of the Thread - perhaps the problem is with MT4 rather than RoboMiner Pro, I don't know. I run lots of EAs and have never seen MT4 open extra trades like this before. If it happens repeatedly as you say, then users need to be aware of the problem and know to watch for occasional trades being opened and not getting a T/P set. Restarting MT4 isn't going to get the EA to suddenly add missing T/P's - is it? rgds McDirt |

As I recall, upon restart of MT4, RoboMiner does review the open trades and any which have a magic number that matches the settings will get a T/P added. And I should clarify - repeatedly meant twice for me, in a year or so of running the robot. So it's very unusual. |
