Hello I am testing on forex.com (following your instructions) robominer pro 1.04 . I installed the forex , and created a demo account with leverage 200:1 , 2500 euros (note euros) . Then I am operating the robominer pro EA with AUDNZD and EURCHF I set the balance factor to 2500 and I changed the magic number for EURCHF. After 10 hours running I see only 1 trade operation in AUDNZD which is losing 0.55 . The AUDNZD and EURCHF windows are showing me that the robominer is working correctly (there is the happy face in the right upper corner) Is it normal this behaviour , only 1 open trade in 10 hours ? |

Yes, this is the correct behavior. Please refer to page 8 in the user manual which says "How RoboMiner works" for complete details. You may also want to review the attached files, below, to better understand how the robot was designed. |

Thank you , in this case robominer pro 1.04 is not for me, after 2 days only 1 operation which is losing too. If I would try something more aggressive (several transactions per day/hour) in all available pairs , GT-Shadow is the product for me ? |

Shadow is for advanced traders only who can also do the maths. It provides 'clothes pegs' to create you own grid system where every variable must be defined. It's just like being able to create your own EA but where each possible variable has been programmed in already and linked to teh trading protocols so you just have to think about which variables you wish to use, how they are to work and what values to apply. From the little information you have given I don't think this stable of products is for you, they are two conservative. Shadow could do what you want but would you understand the dangers inherrent in your trading style not to over trade your account. Michael |

I agree with mblake. You are not understanding how the product works, and it sounds like you're not looking for an investment but an "exciting gambling game". I used to be like that ... until I blew my live trading account. ![]() I'm not going to recommend GT-Shadow either, as it's a very complex product designed for VERY advanced and educated traders. The RoboMiner robots are designed VERY CAREFULLY to make money, not to give you a fancy show or haphazardly open many trades. RoboMiner will almost always open trades that stay open in drawdown for several days, weeks, or even months in some cases. The concept of how RoboMiner works is simple enough - it assumes the currency pair will always stay within it's hisorical high and low (to some greater extent). Any time the price is above the mid point, it will open a SELL order, under the assumption that the price will FALL at some point. When below the average, it will open a BUY assuming the price will RISE at some point. It will open up to 33 trades above or below the mid point. If you look at the live statement of RoboMiner, you'll see on a non-FIFO account that there can be lots and lots of trades open that are "losers" ... until they all close in profit. And that is the beauty of RoboMiner - when used properly, all trades close in profit. There are no other robots that do that. Sure, there are other robots that open lots of trades per day or hour, and they also lose lots of money per day or hour. Sorry, that's not investing, that's throwing money away on a video game. The only robots which I have heard good things about are MegaDroid and Forex Funnel. However, you have to be hands on and you will take losses. Personally, I don't like having to check my computer every 15 minutes to be sure I am not about to get margin called, or I have to turn the robot off, or I have to deposit more funds, etc. I prefer to spend time with my wife, my family, my dogs, out with friends, etc., knowing the robot I am using is just making money without me having to babysit it. |
